How to Set Up Katana Indicators in MetaTrader

Setting up the Katana trading system in MetaTrader takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through adding and configuring each indicator with the correct parameters.

Setting Up MA5

1. Open Insert → Indicators → Trend → Moving Average
2. Period: 5
3. Method: Simple
4. Apply to: Close
5. Color: Blue (or your preference for the fast MA)
6. Click OK

Setting Up MA20

1. Insert → Indicators → Trend → Moving Average
2. Period: 20
3. Method: Simple
4. Apply to: Close
5. Color: Red (or your preference for the slow MA)
6. Click OK

Setting Up Awesome Oscillator

1. Insert → Indicators → Bill Williams → Awesome Oscillator
2. No parameters to change — it uses default settings
3. The histogram appears in a separate window below your chart
